Member of the Chartered instiute of Building Engineers

                                         GW4ZAG Formally GW6PBM

BJA 1st Dan JUDO  (The Way of the Warrior)

Awarded the STAR OF ROMANIA by the PRESIDENT of ROMANIA for services to Children and Young People.
I am married to Pat, we have two sons who are married and we have one Grandson.
I am of Italian decent, my mother was Italian. We have just been granted our Italian Nationality through my Grandfather and my Mother, by applying to the Italian Courts. Its a great day for my family and me.

I have been licenced since the 80's. I am not very active on the bands, my main activity is QRP, I like building QRP transceivers. I work with a friend who is more technical than myself. Together we have produced a number of good projects.

In the past I have enjoyed building replica transceivers like the Paraset and the Ameco with a matching receiver. They have been a bit of a challenge because of my lack of technica expertise, but I got there in the end.

Instead of the convential VFO, I like installing simple DDS in the projects and I have been helped by a number of people to develope my own boards. I have a friend who is great at programming and developing the Pic chips and that certainly helps.
