Biography

Obtained my licence in 1993 at Brighton College of Technology (now City College Brighton&Hove) and occasionally active on HF,VHF&UHF, I have a Kenwood TS-50s paired with a AT-200pro ATU.

At my home QTH I have a Solarcon (Antron) A-99 vertical up for 10-17metres, mounted approximately 9 feet above ground level and it folds down when not in use, it seems to work well on 10-17metres and 20metres performance is acceptical (via a AT-200pro ATU) I have yet to try it on 6 meters.

Been working on some radios over the last few months and now able to use all bands from 40metres - 70cms all modes except 4metres & 23cms which are FM only. I have limited aerials for some bands and often use my Yaesu FT-817ND on my travels.

GB3NS & GB3IW are usually monitored while I am in the shack.
