Biography

Hi. I was licensed in early 1970 whilst attending Marine College.
I joined the Merchant Navy as a Radio Officer.
Subsequently I have been a computer engineer and then a field engineer for GE.
Now retired I can devote more time to the hobby.

Worked DXCCs:

Equipment

I run a Yaesu FTdx1200 as a base station and a Dual Beam Antenna.
I also use an ICOM-705 or an Elecraft KX3 for QRP work.
Portable antennas include a Buddistick, Buddipole, Alex Loop, M1ECC Superslider DX and a Superstick MP1B.
Parts can be used to create a hybrid antenna.
