Biography

Hello, and welcome to my "DX" page on QRZCQ.COM. I've been involved with Amateur Radio since before obtaining my "Novice" class license (WN8UGN) from the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in June 1966. Currently, I hold an "Amateur Extra" class license (K8SQ) from the FCC. I also hold an Amateur Class "A" license (DU2FIS) from the National Telecommunications Commission, Republic of the Philippines.

Over the years, I have operated amateur radio stations from several locations:

•Florida, USA - WA8UGN/4
•Guam, Marianna Islands - KG6AAY & WA8UGN/KH2
•Hawaii, USA - WA8UGN/KH6
•Illinois, USA - K9NBH
•Maryland, USA - WA8UGN/3
•Ohio, USA - K8SQ, WA8UGN
•Okinawa, Ryukyu Islands - KR6CW
•Philippines - DU2FIS, DU2/K8SQ, DU2/WA8UGN

While I am "officially retired" (three times), I continue to work with my second love - accounting.
•Retired USN MCPO (CTMCM)
•Retired Ernst & Young LLP (tax accountant)
•Retired Swenson Advisors LLP (tax accountant)
•Founder & Managing Member of Keating & Chillingsworth, Ltd. (an accounting firm)
