SWL since 1956 in Germany -licenced ham n various countries worldwide,in Germany under callsign DJ 5 RT since 1969.

Since 1980 setting up and operating the "M.A.R." Medical Assistance Radio Net,mainly for operations into and from Africa.We meet daily on 14.332 Mc at 07.45 UTC.Our members are volonteers ,partly MDs like me,non profit,private net.

DJ5RT is located in Upper Bavaria / Germany, some 50 miles east of Munich.
Three HF stations (1 complete set for portable operations) qrv into various antenna systems.

On VHF and UHF we qrv on the local repeaters and any official emergency frequency
(BOS), permission prior request.
