Biography

Hello to all my friends:

My name is Juan, DDS by profession, born, raised, nursed and weaned off in ConcepciĆ³n, Chile since 1969 and licensed as a novice at 1991 (CE5PHX). In 1995 I get my General Class license at the Amateur Radio Circle of the Universidad Austral de Chile (CE6CLJ), because for work, I lived near Valdivia (in Futrono) obtaining the license CE6PHX.

In 2000, for reasons of professional growth, need to move to Santiago, changed my callsign to CE3PHX, that in 2010, switched to CE3PHI. Since 2011, I work at the air with my actual callsign CE5PHI, which I hope will be final.

I am son and brother of HAM. My dad is Juan CE5NQH and my brother is Pancho CE5VMM.

I love the DX, I'm a frustrated CW operator, but I'm waiting for the day begins to "speak that". Lately I'm giving more work to digital modes, preferably BPSK-31 and BPSK-63.

I use the HRD suite for all matters relating to hamradio administration and digital modes

I like to QSL. QSL via Bureau, eQSL (AG), LoTW, and also direct. I like to collect QSL Paper. Contributions are not required.
