Biography

Newly licensed in July 2014. Tested at same sitting from tech through extra. Decent understanding of tech info but short on radio experience,,,,,,,starting my learning curve and have a long way to go.

I remember being 14 (46 yrs ago) and getting my first cb radio - a HE-90 from Lafayette electronics store with a 10' window mount antenna. My first CB call sign was KKE-0232....back then you had to be licensed for cb use. After getting bored of not being able to make many contacts I left CB radio but I always thought of returning to it. Here we are 46 years later and I finally have my Extra license and trying all over again.

I am a retired Registered Nurse living in New York about 50 miles south of Albany. Love the different seasons this part of the country offers.

Anyway 73's to all and hope to make contact with you.

Bruce

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
