Biography

I was born 1949. I started ham radio bands 1964, in high school. That time and later as student i was very active on SW and VHF. First call sign was YU2REC.
I was never interesting very much in awards and contests, i call it "administrative stuff". Respecting everyone's choice i prefer electronics.
My job(s) was always close to the radio: maintenance, servicing, broadcasting etc.
I had periods of activity, ham-hibernation too. 50 years is long period, isn't it?
My home made radio devices are mostly trashed or gather dust in a shed ...

I am retired, we communicate mostly over Internet.

Despite low solar activity, high noise level and many SW services down, radio still sounds very fine!

Equipment

TS-50 will be changed with IC-745 and PSK31 will be set on my table soon.
Several magnetic loop type antennas, because of increasing radio smog in urban area.
