Biography

I started to learn Morse in March last year with Peter G4LHI, I am now using it regularly on 2 Mtrs on Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays & Wednesdays.
I can also be found on 144.060 CW /P or /A occasionally at lunchtimes in the Cambridge area having a rag chew.
I am able to send clean Morse at speeds up to 16 wpm, however my receiving is still around 10 wpm. I make a conscious effort to send slower and expect to receive slower. As they say Quality transcends Speed.
CW is now my main interest in radio. Occasionally I do visit SSB on 2Mtrs & HF.

I am also a member of the FISTS club.

http://fists.co.uk/

These people really promote the learning & use of Morse. If you have never tried, give it a go.
