Biography

I was first licensed as WN2RQZ/WA2RQZ back in December 1960. I operated from an apartment in Greenwich Village, NYC, NY until 1965. I was then only active organizing 2 college radio clubs until 1971 and then let my license expire for 32 years. I took and passed my FCC tests on June 12, 2003 and I am now back on the air, first as KB1KCI then as W1AJT. I have also passed my Canadian license tests and have VE3UTT as my Canadian call sign. My station is remotely operable from my NC location when not in Canada. I operate as VE3UTT from:

CQ-Zone 4

Grid FN04wn

I operate on 6 thru 160 meters using SSB, CW, RTTY, PSK31, and JT-modes mostly during the warm months and remote from NC.

I am an active member of Contest Club Ontario.
