| Biography Special Event Station K2P will be operating from 5/27 00:00 Z to 5/29 23:59 Z. We will have operators on several bands throughout the weekend and a site location station at John Paul Jones Park during Memorial Day itself to celebrate the 150th Kings County (Brooklyn, NY) Memorial Day Parade.
A special certificate will be available via Email for all verified contacts. We will be checking your QRZ page for an email address but, if you do not have one there please email us with your call sign and we'll send you back the customized certificate for participation. The certificates will be in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format that you can print at your lesiure.
We will be logging on QRZ.com, eQSL, ClubLog and LoTW. Confirmations are uploaded every few minutes from the primary station and nightly from the few remote ststions. All logs will be coordinated After the holiday so if you do not see a confirmation right away, it will come soon. If you do not see one by Tuesday, 5/30 Eastern US time, send us an email with your log data and we'll straighten it out.
Please look for us on the air / Cluster on all HF bands depending on propagation conditions. We will be in the US General Class portions to give everyone a chance. US Techs, find us on 10 meters 28.3 ~ 28.5 when available. We will be SSB only during this event.
When you hear any of our stations, please spot us on the DX cluster so more folks will know where we are. Please feel free to get us on as many bands that you can, the more the better.
