Biography

Hello!

Thank you for looking me up on QRZCQ.
I was born in 1952 and I am licenced since1981.
I prefer to operate DIGIMODES, first of all PSK.
My QSL-Cards will be sent via EQSL (AG) or direct.
My location Tomar is about 120 kms north of Lisbon.
Between 2013 I started as a SOTA activator using exclusively PSDK31. For health reasons I finished in 2017. I am currently operating only from the shak.
Now I wish you best 73 and hope to see you on my log!
Joao

Worked DXCCs:

Equipment

Currently my HF equipment consists of: RX/TX Kenwood TS-50.
My antennas are made up of a 20-15-10 meter Yagi set made with fishing rods and mounted on a 20m tower.
Dipoles for 30, 40, 80 meters and a G5RV. All antennas and tower are made in CT1BHG.
A computer with MixW software installed and connected via the home interface to the HF Transceiver.
Working at 2 meters I am using a Bigear-Type-2 with a 5/8 vertical antenna, also of homemade construction.

My station portable:
RX/TX Elecraft KX3 with a vertical antena home made.
PC HP-Pavilion with MixW-software.
